Day 5x8-Hour Shift (07:00 - 15:30); Every third weekend required with potential for every other weekend based on unit needs.
Job Description
The X-Ray Technician will be responsible for performing diagnostic X-Ray procedures using the facility's available equipment, including Philips, Siemens, and GE systems. The technician will work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, ensuring the highest quality imaging for patient diagnosis and treatment.
Responsibilities
- Operate diagnostic X-Ray equipment, including C-arm and portable systems.
- Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures.
- Ensure proper workflow and patient safety protocols are followed.
- Record and process images accurately and efficiently.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient care.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist.
- ARRT (R) and BLS certifications are required.
- New Jersey state license required before the start date.
- Experience with C-arm and portable imaging is required; O-arm experience is preferred.
