Job Description
We are seeking a qualified CVICU Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in our Cardiac and Neuro Intensive Care Unit. This role involves managing critical patients post-surgery or with severe cardiac conditions.
Responsibilities
- Assess and monitor the condition of patients in the CVICU.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families.
- Ensure adherence to infection prevention protocols and safety standards.
- Float to similar units based on facility needs, as required.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum of 1 year of CVICU experience; 2 years preferred.
- Active South Carolina RN license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start.
- Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS.
- Cardiac and Neuro experience is required.
