Night shift, 4x12-hour schedule (19:00 - 07:00), including weekdays and every other weekend.

Job Description

The Inpatient Med Surg/Oncology Registered Nurse (RN) will provide care to patients in an inpatient setting, with a focus on oncology and medical-surgical overflow. Experience in oncology is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Administer medication and monitor patient health.
• Provide patient education and support for individuals and families.
• Manage and assess oncology patients for side effects and complications.
• Assure comfort and care through effective communication and patient interaction.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team in developing and implementing care plans.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience is required.
• Current RN license (WV or compact license) is necessary.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS; ONS chemo/bio certification preferred.
