Variable shifts available, including 10 or 12-hour days, with potential weekend shifts. Guaranteed 36 hours per week.
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced PACU Registered Nurse to join our team. You will be responsible for the recovery of patients following various surgical procedures, including orthopedics, gynecology, pediatrics, vascular, ENT, C-sections, GI, and general surgeries.
Responsibilities
- Monitor patient vital signs and recovery progress in the PACU.
- Administer medications and interventions as prescribed.
- Coordinate care with surgical teams and other healthcare professionals.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families post-surgery.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation using EPIC.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum of 2 years of critical care nursing experience.
- Current ACLS, PALS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications are required.
- Experience with arterial lines and ventilator management preferred.
