This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule
Weekly shifts include:
- Week One: 3 shifts of 12 hours on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 7 PM to 7:30 AM
- Week Two: 2 shifts of 8 hours and 2 shifts of 12 hours on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, with hours from 10:30 PM to 7 AM and 7 PM to 7:30 AM
Job Description
The Radiologic Technologist will be responsible for performing imaging procedures on patients, ensuring quality images are captured and providing the highest level of patient care. This role requires adherence to safety protocols, proper operation of imaging equipment, and effective communication with patients and staff.
Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of imaging procedures in accordance with safety standards and protocols.
- Prepare and position patients for imaging examinations, ensuring comfort and safety.
- Maintain imaging equipment, report malfunctions, and ensure all equipment meets required safety standards.
- Document and maintain accurate patient records and imaging data.
- Collaborate with medical staff to provide effective patient care.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- BLS (AHA) certification
- Certified Radiologic Technologist - ARRT (R) credential required
- Must provide an unexpired copy of the candidate's driver’s license
- Radiation badge will be provided by the agency; facility will not provide
