Job Description
The Physical Therapist will work in a long-term acute care setting, providing comprehensive therapy services to adult patients with medically complex conditions, including cardiopulmonary issues, neuro, and orthopedic diagnoses.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate patient conditions and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Implement therapy interventions tailored to each patient’s needs.
- Assist patients in improving their mobility and physical function.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated care.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Active Physical Therapist license in the state of practice.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in acute care and working with cardiopulmonary conditions.
- Preferred experience with respiratory failure, CHF, ESRD, and CVA patients.
