Wednesday, Friday: 8 AM - 1 PM

Job Description

The Outpatient Physical Therapist will evaluate all assigned patients, developing, implementing, and modifying treatment plans aligned with patients' needs, goals, and physician directives. Responsibilities include overseeing all discipline-specific therapy services for assigned patients and ensuring the design of effective treatment programs that promote successful community reintegration. This role also involves patient education for individuals, families, students, and colleagues, alongside performing additional professional duties associated with patient care and the development of therapy services.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients and create tailored treatment plans focused on timely discharge.
• Document all care accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with state, federal, and clinic guidelines.
• Provide supervision and mentorship to students within the student program as appropriate.
• Actively pursue professional growth and maintain continuing education requirements to enhance skills and knowledge.
• Follow State Practice Act and professional codes of conduct while maintaining licensure in good standing.
• Participate in organizational performance improvement initiatives and contribute to action plans for quality enhancement.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• A degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school is required.
• Minimum of 1 year of outpatient clinical experience is required.
• Current CPR certification is required.
• An active and applicable state license for Physical Therapy is required.
• Previous experience with the agency or Select Medical is preferred.
