This is a 13-week contract position with a night shift schedule from 19:00 to 07:00.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality patient care during the night shift. The RN will be responsible for managing patient care activities and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. The ideal candidate must have strong clinical skills and the ability to handle a patient ratio of 5-6 patients per nurse.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and monitor patient progress.
• Interpret and manage dysrhythmias, including the use of rapid response/code teams.
• Administer oxygen and manage airway interventions as necessary.
• Ensure proper isolation precautions/PPE are adhered to.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to formulate and update care plans.
• Utilize a charting system effectively to document patient information.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in a charge role.
• Must possess a valid New York State RN license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• Experience with MS/Tele nursing and interpretation of dysrhythmias preferred.
