Outpatient Physical Therapist - New Graduate

Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Outpatient Physical Therapist (PT) for a full-time position. This role is ideal for a newly graduated therapist looking to gain valuable outpatient experience. The therapist will evaluate and develop individualized treatment plans in accordance with patient needs, goals, and physician directives.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients and develop treatment plans to progress towards discharge.
• Ensure documentation is clear, concise, and timely while adhering to state, federal, and organizational policies.
• Participate in student programs, providing mentorship and supervision as needed.
• Engage in continuous professional development and education to enhance skills and knowledge.
• Adhere to discipline-specific regulations and maintain licensure in good standing.
• Follow organizational guidelines to promote patient and employee safety.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school.
• Outpatient clinical experience preferred (6 months to 1 year).
• Current CPR certification.
• Active licensure in the state where work will be performed.

Schedule

This is a 40 hours per week position with a flexible schedule, primarily consisting of 5x8.0 shifts.
