This position involves working Fridays from 10:30 AM to 11:00 PM and Saturdays to Sundays from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM. Weekend responsibilities will primarily involve outpatient care, while Fridays will cover both inpatient and outpatient services.

Job Description

The MRI Technologist will be responsible for performing magnetic resonance imaging scans using the GE 3T Discovery 750W and, when required, the Siemens Sola 1.5T. The role encompasses both technical and patient care responsibilities to ensure high-quality imaging and patient satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for MRI scans ensuring comfort and safety.
• Operate MRI equipment and ensure high-quality imaging results.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain hygiene in the imaging environment.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff to discuss patient imaging needs.
• Document procedures and patient information accurately in the charting system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 18 months of permanent experience in MRI technologist specialty.
• Current and valid Ohio state license is required prior to submission.
• ARRT certification must be active with no pending requirements.
• Previous charge experience is highly recommended.
