Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Endocrinology/Infectious Disease Registered Nurse to join our team. The role involves direct patient care and administrative responsibilities within a Level I Trauma Center. You will be responsible for managing patients with diabetes, thyroid disorders, HIV, and various infections in a dynamic clinical environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform patient assessments and nursing interventions.
- Administer first dose IV and IM antibiotics, manage PICC lines, and conduct STIM tests.
- Assist in intake, triage, and rooming for clinic visits.
- Collaborate with a healthcare team that includes CMAs, LPNs, RNs, MDs, NPs, PAs, and Social Workers.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a registered nurse.
- Active South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact RN license required.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
- Previous experience with Epic charting system is preferred.
