Job Description
The Physical Therapist will evaluate all assigned patients and develop, implement, and modify treatment plans according to the patient’s needs, goals, and physician direction. This role includes the delegation and direction of all discipline-specific therapy services for assigned patients, ensuring the design of functional treatment programs aimed at facilitating a return to community activities. The therapist will also serve as an educator for patients, families, students, and coworkers, while upholding the standards of patient and employee safety.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients.
- Utilize clinical reasoning to develop appropriate treatment plans and goals.
- Document care accurately and in compliance with regulatory guidelines.
- Participate in student training programs, providing mentorship and evaluation.
- Collaborate on individual professional development plans with clinical management.
- Adhere to state practice acts and maintain professional licensure.
- Contribute to organizational performance improvement initiatives.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school.
- Minimum of 6 months to 1 year of outpatient clinical experience.
- Current CPR certification.
- Active State Physical Therapy license.
