Job Description

The Outpatient Physical Therapist is responsible for evaluating assigned patients and developing, implementing, and modifying treatment plans according to the patients' needs, goals, and physician directives. This role includes delegating and directing therapy services and ensuring the design of effective treatment programs for patients to facilitate their return to community activities. The therapist will also serve as an educator for patients, families, and colleagues while maintaining compliance with the organization's standards.

Responsibilities

• Complete comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients.
• Develop and document appropriate treatment plans focused on patient progression.
• Maintain clear, concise, and accurate medical record documentation.
• Participate in student mentorship programs as needed.
• Engage in professional development activities and maintain licensure.
• Adhere to ethical standards and regulatory practices within the discipline.
• Contribute to performance improvement initiatives for service quality enhancement.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school.
• 1+ years of outpatient clinical experience.
• Current CPR certification.
• Active and applicable license for the state where work will be performed.
