Job Description

The Outpatient Physical Therapist is responsible for evaluating patients, developing, implementing, and modifying treatment plans in accordance with patient needs, goals, and physician directives. You will delegate and direct discipline-specific therapy services for assigned patients to design functional treatment programs that ensure effective community reintegration. Additionally, the role includes educating patients, families, students, and coworkers while performing professional duties associated with patient care.

Responsibilities

• Comprehensive evaluation of assigned patients.
• Utilization of clinical reasoning to design appropriate treatment plans and goals.
• Clear, concise, and timely medical record documentation.
• Participation in student programs, providing a positive learning environment.
• Creation of individualized professional development plans.
• Adherence to discipline-specific State Practice Acts and regulatory requirements.
• Active engagement in organizational performance improvement initiatives.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school (required).
• 1+ year of outpatient clinical experience (required).
• CPR Certification (required).
• Active state licensure in good standing.
