Job Description
The Registered Nurse in the Endoscopy department will provide comprehensive care to adult and geriatric patients undergoing endoscopy procedures. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of endoscopy experience, including proficiency in EGD, Colonoscopy, ERCP, Bronchoscopy, and feeding tube placements.
Responsibilities
- Provide patient care in the Endoscopy unit, ensuring safety and comfort throughout procedures.
- Monitor and document patient vitals and comfort levels before, during, and after procedures.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team to deliver high-quality patient care.
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of endoscopic equipment and instruments.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Valid RN license in West Virginia.
- ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
- Minimum of 1 year of endoscopy experience.
