Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for our Labor & Delivery unit. The nurse will be responsible for providing comprehensive care for high-risk and low-risk obstetric patients and must have experience in fast-paced environments. The RN will scrub for C-section procedures and execute full patient assessments.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for patients in the Labor & Delivery unit.
• Deliver full assessments and document findings accurately.
• Scrub for C-sections and assist in other surgical procedures as needed.
• Work closely with hospitalists and intensivists for in-house care.
• Ensure patient comfort and safety during all procedures.
• Float to OB or nursery as needed, while maintaining patient care standards.
• Attend to high-risk obstetric patients and manage complex cases.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• BSN preferred; RN license required.
• Current certifications in ACLS, BLS (AHA), and NRP.
• Experience in high-risk obstetrics is necessary.
• Proficient in dual-charting systems, specifically Meditech and GE.
