Schedule
This is a 13-week contract position with an evening shift from 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM, Monday through Friday. The role includes an on-call rotation for nights, weekends, and holidays.
Job Description
The Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) will be responsible for performing various ultrasound procedures on patients, including General Ultrasound and Vascular studies. The technician will ensure high-quality images are obtained and maintained in compliance with health and safety regulations.
Responsibilities
- Perform ultrasound exams including abdominal, vascular, early OB, and anatomy evaluations.
- Ensure patient comfort and safety during imaging procedures.
- Collaborate with radiology staff as necessary to optimize patient care.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of procedures and patient information.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations and department policies.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from AHA.
- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) certification via ARDMS is required.
- Experience with Epic and Fuji PACS systems.
- Must have a valid driver's license with a permanent address outside a 50-mile radius from the facility.
- Must disclose any background hits at the time of submission.
