Cardiac Sonographer

Schedule

This position involves 5 eight-hour day shifts with a weekend call rotation from 7 AM to 1 PM on Saturday and Sunday.

Job Description

The Cardiac Sonographer will perform transthoracic echocardiograms and provide high-quality cardiac imaging services, contributing to patient diagnosis and management. You will work primarily in the main facility but may be required to float to other locations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Conduct transthoracic echocardiograms for both inpatients and outpatients.
• Collaborate with cardiologists for image interpretation and diagnostic procedures.
• Document and maintain accurate patient records using EPIC and PACS systems.
• Respond to weekend call requirements as scheduled.
• Maintain and ensure the proper functioning of imaging equipment.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Cardiac Sonographer.
• Must possess BLS certification (American Heart Association).
• Certification as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) through ARDMS or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) through CCI is required.
