Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) for our CVOR unit. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in open heart and vascular surgeries, as well as a strong background in operating room procedures. The RN will work in a fast-paced environment, assisting with various surgical procedures and ensuring the highest standards of patient care.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in the operating room during surgical procedures.
- Coordinate with the surgical team, including surgeons and surgical technicians.
- Monitor patient vitals and respond to any medical needs during surgery.
- Assist in preparing and maintaining the sterile field.
- Document patient care details accurately in the EMR system (Meditech).
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Current RN license required.
- BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory.
- Proven experience in open heart and vascular surgery is essential.
- Prior operating room experience required.
