Schedule
This is a full-time position with 5 shifts per week, each lasting 7.5 hours, totaling 38 hours per week. The schedule does not include weekends or federal holidays, ensuring a work-life balance.
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Pediatric Infusion Registered Nurse to join our team. This role involves providing care to pediatric patients undergoing hematology and oncology treatments. The nurse will potentially float to Pediatric Infusion and will be responsible for ensuring a high standard of patient care in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Administer infusions and monitor patients during treatments.
- Maintain a ratio of 1 nurse to 10 patients in a chair setting.
- Work with a team of healthcare professionals in the hematology and oncology division.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in patient care.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- 2-3 years of experience in oncology and infusion nursing.
- Current APHON certification required.
- Experience in pediatric infusion and oncology is mandatory.
