Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Nurse to provide comprehensive care for patients undergoing minimally invasive procedures. The ideal candidate will have proficiency in circulating interventional radiology (IR) procedures, managing moderate sedation, and PICC and Midline administration.
Responsibilities
- Circulate in Interventional Radiology procedures.
- Administer moderate sedation and monitor patients during procedures.
- Perform central line insertions and PICC care.
- Assist in procedures such as chest tube placements, lung biopsies, and renal angiography.
- Manage IV therapy and blood product administration.
- Adhere to radiation and laser safety protocols.
- Provide pre and post-procedure care.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Active NJ or Compact RN license required at time of submission.
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS required at time of submission.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role.
- Proficient in PICC and Midline procedures, central line insertions.
- Previous experience circulating IR procedures is preferred.
