Schedule
This position involves 3 × 11.5-hour shifts, totaling 35 hours per week. The shifts are scheduled during the night. Nurses may be required to float to the PMCU or ED.
Job Description
The Registered Nurse will provide care in the Progressive Care Unit, focusing on patients with stroke cases, epilepsy, and those requiring telemetry monitoring, as well as patients on high-risk drips and medications. Previous travel experience is required.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage patients in a progressive care setting.
- Administer medications and high-risk drips as prescribed.
- Provide telemetry monitoring and respond to changes in patient condition.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Ensure adherence to protocols and hospital guidelines.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience in a relevant specialty.
- ACLS certification required.
- BSN preferred.
- Previous travel nursing experience is a must.
