Job Description
The Endoscopy Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing excellent patient care in the endoscopy unit. The nurse will work with a team to perform various procedures while ensuring safety and comfort for patients, both adults and pediatrics.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and recovery of patients undergoing endoscopic procedures.
- Maintain a safe and sterile environment during procedures.
- Monitor patient vital signs and comfort during and after procedures.
- Provide comprehensive care while collaborating with the medical team.
- Educate patients and families about procedures and post-operative care.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Current RN License in the state of Texas.
- ACLS and PALS certifications.
- Experience in endoscopy preferred.
- BLS certification required.
