Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Emergency Department Registered Nurse to provide high-quality nursing care in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills, with the ability to triage and manage patients in varying acuity levels.
Responsibilities
- Perform phlebotomy and ED nursing care across all triage levels.
- Provide airway management and intubation support.
- Monitor and assist in moderate sedation recovery.
- Deliver wound care and laceration repair assistance.
- Conduct cardiac monitoring and participate in code response and resuscitation support.
- Communicate effectively with a small team of RNs, ED Physicians, and Radiology Techs.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Current RN license.
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, ENPC, and TNCC.
- Strong emergency department clinical judgment and triage skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a small team effectively.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred.
- Previous experience in a free-standing emergency department is a plus.
- Knowledge of Meditech and point of care testing in FSED preferred.
