Job Description

This is a full-scope LDRP RN position responsible for providing comprehensive care in Labor & Delivery, Newborn Nursery, and Postpartum/Couplet Care. The role requires competency in intrapartum management, including induction/augmentation, high-risk labor monitoring, fetal heart rate interpretation, and circulating C-sections.

Responsibilities

• Provide care during labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum for mothers and infants.
• Perform fetal monitoring interpretation and manage high-risk labor cases.
• Participate in neonatal resuscitation and immediate newborn stabilization.
• Conduct routine newborn assessments and provide postpartum/couplet care for stable mother and infants.
• Function independently in a low-volume, high-acuity rural setting.

Schedule

Days: 06:45 AM - 07:15 PM. Must work one major holiday if assignment overlaps. The position does not guarantee block hours.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN licensure.
• BLS and ACLS from AHA or ARC.
• NRP, AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring, and STABLE preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in LDRP or similar settings.
• Ability to circulate C-sections, manage Pitocin titration, and understand fetal monitoring interpretation.
• Participation in neonatal resuscitation.
