This is a 10-hour day shift position from 06:15 AM to 04:45 PM, with call requirements of two days a week and every third weekend.

Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our surgical services team. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in CVOR and trauma settings, with extensive experience in cardiac and vascular surgery cases. This position involves providing direct patient care to adults and geriatrics in a multi-specialty surgical environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in the operating room, ensuring the safety and well-being of patients during surgical procedures.
- Assist with various surgical cases including but not limited to vascular, general, orthopedic, and trauma surgeries.
- Implement and adhere to safety protocols, including fire safety, aseptic technique, and universal protocol procedures.
- Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Manage patient specimen handling, labeling, and sterilization/disinfection processes.
- Float to Main OR and Vascular OR as needed to meet patient care demands.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum of 1.5 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in surgical services.
- Required certifications: BLS and NBSTSA.
- Experience in trauma settings and working with adult and geriatric patients is mandatory.
- Knowledge of Epic electronic health record system is a plus.
