Schedule

Night shift from 7 PM to 7 AM, working three 12-hour shifts per week, including every other weekend.

Job Description

Join our dedicated team as a Registered Nurse (RN) and be at the forefront of coordinating exceptional patient care for adult and occasional pediatric patients. Your expertise will provide comprehensive medical, surgical, outpatient, observation, swing bed, and pediatric care in the dynamic general Med/Surg unit. Collaborate with a talented group of professionals, leading them to meet the unique needs of our diverse patient population while employing the innovative Nursing Process to make critical decisions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver holistic care focused on patients’ age, physiological, spiritual, psychosocial, and developmental needs.
• Coordinate with the Unit Director, Clinical Nurse Lead, and/or Nursing Supervisor to ensure effective patient care.
• Provide exemplary patient care in the Med/Surg unit and manage pediatric cases as necessary.
• Utilize the Nursing Process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 3 years of acute care experience.
• Current Vermont RN or multi-state RN licensure.
• BLS and ACLS certification (American Heart Association).
• Experience with Meditech is preferred.
