This position is for night shift from 19:00 to 07:00, with a minimum of 4 weekend shifts required per schedule. Occasional on-call duties may be expected.

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Registered Nurse for our Neonatal ICU. The unit consists of 42 beds, with the potential to overflow to 50 beds, and has a committed team of 70 staff members. The nurse will provide critical care to patients, adhering to high standards of clinical practice and safety.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient care for Neonatal ICU patients, ensuring compliance with medical standards.
• Participate in procedures such as IV starts and PICC insertions.
• Maintain accurate patient records and updates in the EMR, specifically Meditech and CPN.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN licensure
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required; STABLE certification is preferred
• Experience with central lines, UAC, UVC, broviacs, PICC, and CPAP is a strong advantage
