Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for our Medical-Surgical/Orthopedic unit. The unit hosts a variety of patient populations, including medical-surgical, orthopedic, spine, trauma, and psych medical hold patients. Your role will involve working as part of a dynamic RN/LPN team, providing high-quality patient care and ensuring positive outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and effective communication within a team-oriented environment.
• Utilize advanced assessment skills, critical thinking, and prioritization methods to manage patient care.
• Administer medications and treatments in line with established protocols.
• Perform medical-surgical procedures as required, including post-catheterization, thoracentesis, and wound care.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Participate in departmental meetings and workshops to enhance nursing practices.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN license with a minimum of 1 year of Medical-Surgical experience.
• BLS certification required; ACLS certification is optional.
• Strong organizational, time management, and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly and learn new procedures or technologies.
