Job Description

The Outpatient Physical Therapist evaluates assigned patients and develops, implements, and modifies treatment plans according to the patients' needs, goals, and physician directives. This role requires a focus on creating and directing all discipline-specific therapy services, ensuring functional treatment programs for effective community reintegration.

Responsibilities

• Complete comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients.
• Utilize clinical reasoning to develop appropriate treatment plans and goals.
• Document medical records accurately and timely in compliance with regulations.
• Ensure care is provided under signed, valid physician orders.
• Participate in student programs, providing a positive learning environment.
• Develop and pursue a professional growth plan through continuing education.
• Adhere to state practice acts and maintain professional licensure.
• Engage in performance improvement initiatives.

Schedule

This is a 5x8 schedule, with 40 hours per week expected.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school.
• 6 months to 1+ year of outpatient clinical experience.
• CPR certification.
• Active and applicable state license.

Assignment Duration

This is a 6-month contract position.
