Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Imaging Nurse to provide comprehensive care in our specialized imaging unit. The ideal candidate will collaborate with interventional radiologists and multidisciplinary teams across various procedural settings, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the procedural continuum.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough preprocedural assessments and provide patient education.
• Monitor and manage patient status during procedures, ensuring vital signs and hemodynamic stability.
• Administer moderate sedation according to established protocols.
• Provide postprocedural care, including recovery monitoring and discharge instructions.
• Assist with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in CT, MRI, Fluoroscopy, Ultrasound, and Interventional Radiology suites.
• Utilize advanced clinical judgment to identify complications and initiate emergency protocols when necessary.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in imaging or critical care settings.
• Current certifications in ACLS and BLS; PALS certification preferred.
• Experience with EPIC charting system is required.
• Valid nursing license without any restrictions.
• Experience in a Level 1 trauma hospital setting is preferred.
