Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in emergency medicine and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The ER RN will provide direct patient care, ensuring the delivery of high-quality and compassionate care to patients in the emergency department.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in the emergency department.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care needs.
- Work collaboratively with physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor and document patient progress and response to treatment.
- Assist with emergency procedures and interventions as required.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum of 2 years of ER nursing experience.
- Current South Carolina RN license or Compact license.
- ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications required.
- Epic charting experience required.
- Community hospital experience preferred.
