Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist with acute care outpatient experience. The ideal candidate will be capable of working in both outpatient and inpatient rehabilitation settings and will assist with weekend coverage as needed.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat patients with diverse conditions including neurological and orthopedic issues.
- Develop and implement effective treatment plans to aid recovery and improve patients' quality of life.
- Provide education to patients and families regarding treatment protocols and home exercise programs.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient care.
- Assist with adaptive equipment assessments and home safety evaluations.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in an outpatient setting is preferred.
- California Occupational Therapist License required.
- Experience with Epic charting system is preferred.
- Occupational Therapist Certification (OTR) is required.
