Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess experience in telemetry and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. The nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to a diverse patient population, ensuring safety and comfort while monitoring vital signs and managing patient care plans.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to adults and geriatrics, including assessments and monitoring of vital signs.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and document patient data accurately.
• Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary team members and provide education to patients and families.
• Utilize telemetry equipment to monitor patients during shifts.
• Assist with pre- and post-operative care and management of chronic illnesses.
• Adhere to safety protocols and infection control standards.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Valid PA Registered Nurse License
• ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and PALS certifications required
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in telemetry or acute care settings
• Experience with Cerner charting system preferred
• Comfortable managing patients with high acuity including use of telemetry
