Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) with experience in a level I trauma center to join our team in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). The ideal candidate will be comfortable and competent in caring for a variety of ICU patients, including those in neuro/trauma SICU, MICU, CPS/VICU, CCU, and progressive critical care units (PCCU).
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive and compassionate care to ICU patients.
- Float to various units as required, including emergency department (ED) and post-anesthesia care unit (PACU).
- Conduct assessments and develop nursing care plans for critically ill patients.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Participate in competency testing within 24 hours of submission.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Previous travel nursing experience is required.
- Experience in floating to various ICU units is highly desired.
- Epic experience is required.
- Must be able to wear navy blue scrubs as per dress code.
Schedule
This position requires availability for a 7A - 7:30P shift, with a contract duration of 13 weeks.
