Registered Nurse - Acute Care Night Shift

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

12-hour night shifts, including weekends as scheduled.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care in a fast-paced acute care environment. The RN will work across multiple units with varying acuity levels, including potential floating to the Emergency Department (ED) or Coronary Care Unit (CCU) as needed, based on their skillset.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care for a diverse population, including conditions such as NSTEMI, pneumonia, sepsis, diabetes, and heart disease.
• Manage nursing responsibilities with patient ratios varying from 1:2-10 depending on the unit.
• Titrate critical drips, including heparin, and manage various respiratory equipment.
• Perform duties with flexibility and adapt to the needs of different units.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 5 years nursing experience required.
• At least 1 year of ICU or ED experience strongly preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required for those working in the CCU or ED.
