This is a 3x12 contract position, with shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, including every third weekend.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Inpatient Rehab Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic team. This position involves working in a CARF accredited inpatient rehabilitation unit, focusing on promoting patient recovery through a collaborative interdisciplinary approach. The RN will manage a small unit of 10 beds, caring for patients primarily with neurological diagnoses, including but not limited to stroke, brain injury, spinal cord dysfunction, and amputations.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care for patients in an inpatient rehabilitation setting.
• Develop and implement patient care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
• Monitor and manage patient progress while providing therapeutic interventions.
• Document patient assessments and care activities accurately in the medical records.
• Administer medications and educate patients on their treatment plans.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• One year of nursing experience in a similar setting preferred.
• Current BLS certification required; Quality Indicator credentialing must be obtained within three months of employment.
• Valid state nursing license must be at least pending with an estimated time of arrival clearly stated.
