Job Description
The Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) will provide comprehensive pulmonary function testing and support for bronchoscopy procedures. This role involves working closely with a diverse patient population, including pediatric and geriatric patients, and performing a variety of respiratory diagnostics and therapeutic procedures.
Responsibilities
- Conduct full pulmonary testing studies and exercise testing.
- Support bronchoscopy procedures and provide bronchoscopy support.
- Utilize Vyntus/Jaeger PF testing equipment for accurate assessments.
- Monitor and evaluate patients' conditions for respiratory issues.
- Administer aerosol therapies and manage tracheostomy care.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a pulmonary function testing setting.
- Current RRT license and BLS certification required; ACLS, PALS, CPFT, RPFT preferred.
- Strong experience in pulmonary function testing and bronchoscopy support.
- Previous charge experience is preferred.
