Registered Nurse - Acute Care

Schedule

This position requires a 12-hour day/night rotation with weekends as scheduled.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will provide direct patient care in an acute care setting with a focus on delivering high-quality and compassionate care to patients. The RN will work collaboratively with a healthcare team to ensure effective treatment and management of patient care.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatment as prescribed.
• Monitor patient vital signs and report changes to the medical staff.
• Provide education to patients and families about health conditions and treatment plans.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in the Allscripts charting system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN License.
• BLS certification (AHA).
• No BSN required; experience in acute care preferred.
