Job Description
The Respiratory Therapist will be responsible for providing essential respiratory care to patients in a fast-paced hospital environment. The candidate will use various equipment and techniques to assess, treat, and manage patients requiring respiratory support.
Responsibilities
- Administer basic floor therapies such as Nebulizer Treatments and Chest Physiotherapy
- Perform arterial blood gas (ABG) sampling and analysis
- Manage BiPap and ventilator support, including extubation procedures
- Provide nocturnal pulse oximetry monitoring
- Collaborate with nursing and medical staff to optimize patient care
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Experience in Bipap and Ventilator management preferred
- ICU experience is a plus
