Job Description
Athletico Physical Therapy is seeking a qualified Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in orthopedic settings, though candidates with 1 year of relevant experience may be considered based on individual qualifications. This position involves working with adults and adolescents, providing essential therapy services in a busy practice.
Responsibilities
- Conduct gross motor assessments and develop treatment plans.
- Administer physical therapy interventions for a variety of orthopedic conditions.
- Collaborate with physical therapists and other healthcare providers for optimal patient care.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation and case management using NextGen software.
- Manage a patient load of 50-55 visits per week, ensuring quality care for all patients.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Must have a valid PTA license.
- 2+ years of experience in orthopedic settings preferred; 1 year may be acceptable depending on individual qualifications.
Schedule
This is a full-time position with a day shift schedule of 40 hours per week, structured as 5x8s.
