Outpatient Physical Therapist Assistant

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Outpatient Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team. This role involves providing high-quality therapy services under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist. Our focus on patient and employee safety is paramount, ensuring superior care for our patients while promoting a safe work environment.

Responsibilities

• Implement treatment goals, plans, and programs as established by the Physical Therapist.
• Assist in therapeutic interventions such as posture training, strengthening exercises, endurance training, and balance exercises.
• Train patients in locomotion using orthotics, prosthetics, and assistive devices.
• Monitor patient responses and intervene as necessary, ensuring safe and effective use of equipment.
• Document patient progress and provide education to patients and families.
• Establish and maintain professional relationships with patients, staff, and other healthcare disciplines.
• Adhere to safety, infection control, and clinic policies at all times.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an Accredited School.
• CAPTE Certified.
• 1+ Year of Outpatient Clinical Experience.
• CPR Certification.
• Active State Licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.

Schedule

This is a 5x8.0 schedule with guaranteed hours.
