Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for our Emergency Department. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in emergency medicine and will play a critical role in managing patient care during high-pressure situations. You will work in a dynamic environment, providing care for patients with a variety of emergent conditions.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in accordance with established protocols and standards.
• Manage and coordinate emergency medical care, including STEMI and Stroke protocols.
• Administer medications and treatments, monitor patient progress, and document care in EMR.
• Perform procedures such as intubation, laceration repair, orthotic splinting, and more.
• Communicate effectively with the healthcare team, patients, and families.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 3 years of recent Emergency Department experience.
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC.
• Experience in a charge nurse role is preferred, demonstrating ability to multitask and think independently.
