Job Description
Join our dynamic team in the Operating Room, where you will be an essential part of surgical care. The operating room hosts 11 ORs and 1 endo suite, caring for a diverse set of patients undergoing various procedures.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients during surgical procedures.
- Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Assist in maintaining a sterile environment and adhere to safety protocols.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and provide necessary interventions.
- Support surgical teams by ensuring all necessary instruments and equipment are readily available.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Current RN license in the state of Texas.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Experience in the operating room as a Registered Nurse is required.
- Certification in Surgical Technology (CST) is preferred.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and CNOR certification are advantageous.
