Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist with a strong background in Adult Critical Care and Emergency Department settings. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in managing advanced respiratory equipment and procedures in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Assessing and monitoring patients' respiratory conditions and administering appropriate therapies.
- Utilizing specialized equipment such as Hamilton G5, PB 980, Respironics V60, and Lumis TX.
- Providing emergency respiratory support and assistance in critical care situations.
- Collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care.
- Documenting patient care and progress using electronic charting systems, preferably Epic.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in Adult Critical Care and Emergency Department.
- State license required.
- Certifications: RRT, BLS, ACLS required.
- Experience with the following skills is preferred: BiPAP, ECMO, intubation assist, and high-frequency ventilation.
