Schedule

This position requires flexibility with a schedule of Mondays from 10:30 AM to 11:00 PM and weekends (Saturday-Sunday) from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM. Weekends will primarily involve outpatient services, while Mondays will include a combination of inpatient and outpatient procedures.

Job Description

The MRI Technologist will be responsible for performing imaging procedures using GE 3T Discovery 750W and occasionally Siemens Sola 1.5T equipment. This role requires a strong understanding of MRI protocols and the ability to ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI scans on patients, ensuring quality and accurate imaging.
• Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and answering questions.
• Monitor patients throughout the imaging procedures to ensure safety and comfort.
• Maintain and troubleshoot MRI equipment as necessary.
• Collaborate with medical staff to discuss patient information and imaging requirements.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 18 months of permanent experience as an MRI Technologist.
• Current, valid Ohio state license is required at the time of submission.
• ARRT certification (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) is preferred.
• Active required certifications without any pending issues.
• Reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty is required to qualify for submission.
