Schedule
3x12 or 4x12 Days from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, weekdays, with every other weekend required. Must be able to float to Mother Baby as needed.
Job Description
The Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) will be responsible for providing care to patients in both low-risk and high-risk obstetric settings. The RN will float to Mother Baby unit as necessary and is expected to collaborate with midwives and physicians to enhance the childbirth experience for women, whether seeking minimal intervention or needing assistance with complications.
Responsibilities
- Circulating experience in the OR setting.
- Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM) and IV start skills.
- Perform triage and scrub duties as needed.
- Team with healthcare professionals to provide optimal care during labor, delivery, and postpartum.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in Labor and Delivery.
- BLS and ACLS certifications required, with certifications through the American Heart Association.
- WV or compact RN License - pending license accepted.
- Experience with Cerner charting system is required.
- Must comply with flu vaccine requirements unless a medical exemption is provided.
