This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule
8-hour day shifts with guaranteed 36 hours per week, with the possibility of up to 40 hours. Overtime must be approved by the director prior to working any overtime hours.
Job Description
The Outpatient Orthopedic Physical Therapist will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients in an outpatient orthopedic setting. The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to manage a caseload of 12-14 patients per day with productivity expectations of 60 visits per week. There is an expectation for double-booking of follow-up visits.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and create treatment plans for orthopedic patients.
- Implement appropriate therapeutic interventions.
- Document patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals within the clinic.
- Float to other clinics as required.
Required Experience
- Experience in outpatient orthopedic settings preferred.
- Prior PT experience is required; new graduates, PTAs, and first-time travelers will not be accepted.
