Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM (Night Shift)

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team on the 5th floor of our main campus. The RN will provide high-quality nursing care to patients within a 33-bed unit, ensuring excellent patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care and support in a fast-paced hospital environment.
• Ensure accurate documentation using the Meditech system.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient care.
• Administer medications and manage IVs, Kangaroo pumps, and SCDs.
• Monitor patient conditions and report changes to the healthcare team.
• Educate and communicate with patients and families regarding care plans.
• Participate in unit-wide initiatives to enhance patient experience and safety.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Valid RN license in the state of Tennessee.
• ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
• Previous nursing experience in an acute care setting preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
