Description

Outpatient Physical Therapist - Monthly Contract

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Outpatient Physical Therapist for a month-long contract starting on June 16th. This role involves evaluating patients, developing tailored treatment plans, and ensuring effective interventions to facilitate return to community activities. The therapist will also be responsible for delegating and directing therapy services for assigned patients while maintaining compliance with organizational standards.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients.
  • Develop, implement, and modify treatment plans based on patient needs and goals.
  • Provide follow-up care and document patient progress in a timely manner.
  • Instruct and educate patients, families, and students in therapy-related matters.
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines, as well as organizational protocols.
  • Participate in professional development activities and maintain professional licensure.
  • Promote patient and employee safety as a priority in all care activities.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

  • Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
  • Active and applicable state license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
  • Minimum of 6 months to 1 year of outpatient clinical experience.
  • Current CPR certification.

Schedule

This position is a full-time schedule of 5 days a week, working 8-hour shifts.
